Big East presidents double football exit penalty to $10 million if Air Force or Navy join

The first hurdle for rebuilding the battered Big East was cleared tonight when league presidents voted unanimously to double the football exit fee to $10 million, but on the contingency that Navy or Air Force — but not necessarily both — join the conference for football only, according to a leading college official.
Though there is no timetable for the first of the formal invitations to go out to as many as six new football members, commissioner John Marinatto wholesale jerseys is expected to meet with the expansion candidates shortly to gauge their interest.
